  1. Senior Research Assistant - Adding It Up

    New York City/ Hybrid
    The Senior Research Assistant (AIU) will provide research assistance and coordination support across AIU’s key component projects and deliverables. The Senior Research Assistant (AIU) will support senior and mid-level staff with data processing and management, analysis, data visualizations, manuscript and presentation drafting and preparation, and operational tasks, among other duties. The Senior Research Assistant (AIU) will work with some degree of independence, under the direction and supervision of a Senior or Principal Research Scientist. The Senior Research Assistant (AIU) may also review tasks done by other research assistants on the project.

  2. Senior Research Associate

    New York City/ Hybrid
    Reporting to Senior Research Staff, the Senior Research Associate (SRA) will manage various research and management tasks, including data collection (quantitative and qualitative), data analysis, report writing, and coordination with other teams for publication. They typically serve as project managers or substantive leads, and on international projects, they collaborate closely with in-country partners. The SRA will also train and supervise Research Associates and Assistants. Working with significant independence, they will perform similar tasks as Research Associates but have additional responsibilities and qualifications due to their experience.

    Reporting to the Senior Development Manager, the Development Associate will provide essential support in all aspects of the Institute’s institutional fundraising efforts, with a particular emphasis on supporting current funder engagement and stewardship.

  2. Senior Development Associate - Individual Giving

    New York City/Hybrid
    Reporting to the Director of Individual Giving, the Senior Development Associate, Data Analytics and Campaign Operations will play a key role in the day-to-day operations of the individual giving team, driving donor engagement and revenue growth for Guttmacher’s mission. This position is primarily responsible for database management and coordinating campaigns to support the strategic and revenue goals of the individual giving team’s fundraising initiatives. The Senior Development Associate will provide strategic insights through data analysis and reporting, with the opportunity to work across individual and institutional teams to raise revenue from family foundations and to align the process of the individual and institutional giving teams
